Cosmetic Dentistry in Mississauga

Enhance your smile with cosmetic dentistry. Let Dr. Neil J. Gajjar be your go-to Mississauga Cosmetic Dentist. With our wide range of treatment options – which range from fixing a minor flaw, repairing a cracked or chipped tooth, to correcting a discoloured tooth, or closing a gap between teeth – veneers or bonding can give you the confidence you need to feel comfortable with your smile.

Veneers

A thin layer of laminate material, known as a veneer, is bonded onto your teeth to close a gap, correct a discoloured tooth, or repair a chipped or cracked tooth. A veneer is used to close a gap, correct discoloration or repair a chipped tooth by bonding a thin laminate directly to your teeth.

Crowns

Keep your tooth protected and strong with a crown that caps your tooth. Crowns are made of pure white porcelain to look like a natural tooth, gold or porcelain fused to metal. Crowns cap your natural tooth with an artificial tooth. If your tooth has quite a bit of decay or fillings, crowns are the preferred option. Crowns can be attached to dental implants for a more natural looking tooth.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening reduces stains on your teeth and lightens them for a more attractive appearance.

Contouring

Contouring corrects chipped, crooked or overlapping teeth by reshaping them. Teeth are carefully reduced and built up with laminate material until they are the ideal size and shape.

Bonding

Bonding improves your teeth’s appearance, closing gaps between them. A resin material is applied to your teeth and hardened using a special light.

Avoid These Teeth-Staining Culprits

Red wine, diet cola, tea or coffee are culprits when it comes to discolouring your teeth. Your teeth enamel is broken down by acidity making it more porous and more likely to stain. No need to cut out your favourite drinks, just keep in mind what they can do to your teeth.

Some insurance policies cover cosmetic dental procedures. Ask us if you have available coverage during your next dental visit. We would be happy to look into this for you.
